The Ministry of Budget and Planning came into existence in 2011 as a result of the transformation of the former Bureau of Management and Budget into a full-fledged Ministry. The vision of the Ministry is to deliver proficient financial management services towards effective actualization of Government policies and programmes prudently and efficiently without compromising transparency and accountability.
