Brief Background:

The Department of Reform Monitoring & Evaluation and Knowledge Management is saddled with the responsibilities of coordinating M&E of Public Service reforms aimed at improving service delivery in government MDAs across the State. It is also saddled with the responsibilities of archiving, storing and preserving information and publications of documents on the activities of the Bureau. It also serves as a repository of information for reference purposes.

Functions of the Department:

  1. Undertaking monitoring and evaluation of Public Service reforms, service improvement and process re-engineering projects and activities in Ogun State Public Service
  2. Undertaking periodic sensitization of MDAs and relevant stakeholders on public service transformation approaches and service delivery improvement mechanisms
  3. Preparing and publishing periodic reports on the progress of public service transformation and service delivery
  4. Organizing periodic (e.g. annual) roundtables and forums on public service transformation and service delivery with stakeholders in collaboration with the Public Service Reforms and Innovation Departments and Service Improvement and Process Re-Engineering Departments
  5. Coordinating the ICT operational and activities of the Office
  6. Maintaining databank on public service reforms, service improvement and process re-engineering and
  7. Facilitating Knowledge Management on public service reform, service improvement and process re-engineering initiatives and projects, including web content on such activities and projects to be uploaded on the Ogun State website.
