To undertake directly or through the assistance of the media, an effective publicity for Government public enlightenment programmes and activities.
To produce jingles, awareness and orientation messages, audio/visual programmes and wide ranging publicity materials for public enlightenment and documentary purposes.
To ensure the transmission of the Ministry’s audio/visual programmes produced by the department, for the purpose of enlightening the public on the various activities of the state government, on radio and television stations.
