Permanent Secretary: Timothy Ayoola Olatunji

Mr. Timothy Ayoola Olatunji was born on April 8th, 1965. On completion of his primary education at St Augustine Primary School, Imeko, he proceeded to Nazareth High School, Imeko where he obtained the West African Secondary School Certificate in 1983.

Thereafter, he went to Ogun State College of Education, Ijagun in Ijebu Ode where he obtained a National Certificate in Education (NCE) 1987

Upon completion of his NCE, Mr. Timothy Ayoola Olatunji proceeded to University of Port Harcourt for a Bachelor of Education degree in Psychology, Guidance and counselling/Political Science in year 2000. He later obtained a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos in 2010.

He was appointed into the Ogun State Civil Service on 1st November, 1989 as an Assistant Youth Development Officer in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He later changed his cadre to the Administrative Officer’s cadre. As administrative personnel, the new Permanent Secretary for Forestry had worked in various Ministries, Departments and Agencies in acting capacities as Deputy Director and Director respectively. Some of such MDAs include: Ministry of Works and Housing (2003-2005), Hospital Management Board (2005- 2008), Bureau of Political Affairs and Administration (2008-2011), Office of the Chief of Staff to the Government (2011-2013). In 2013, he was posted to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) as the Special Assistant/Director to the SSG.

Before he was posted to the Ministry of Forestry as Permanent Secretary, Mr. Timothy Olatunji was the Director Administration and Supplies, Ministry of Agriculture. He is married with children.
