PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: DR ELIJAH AYOWOLE OGUNSOLA
Dr Elijah Ogunsola is a public health specialist with over 15 years experience in Public Health and also a specialist in Leadership and Management of Primary Healthcare activities.
He is also highly versed in Policy Formulation, interpretation & implementation with experience in turning Research and Programmatic findings into Policies.
Dr Elijah Ogunsola is an expert in Health System Strengthening and Public Sector engagements with working experience on several International and local development projects.
He is extraordinarily talented in coordinating and managing high performing teams to deliver quality sustainable programs by utilizing excellent strategic planning techniques and strong communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within specified budgetary allocation.
His project experience ranges across a number of different Government and Donor groups including Ipas, KIT,etc.
Dr Elijah Ogunsola is currently the Executive Secretary, Ogun State Primary Health Care Development Board
FUNCTIONS
* Overall planning, budgeting implementation and monitoring of the activities in the state
* Supervising the activities of all the directors and all direct reports
* Ensuring collaboration with the MDAs as needed on health care matters in the state
* Guiding activities of the Board based on monthly and quarterly reports sent to him from all directorates, units and working group
* Defining, communicating and enforcing the OGPHECADEB strategy in collaboration with all the directors.
