Hon. Engr. Taiwo Oludotun was born on the 25th October, 1973 in Lagos State. He is an indigene of Ogun State (Owu kingdom, Abeokuta North Local Government Area).
He attended Catholic Comprehensive Secondary School, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State where he bagged his West African Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSC) in 1994. He later proceeded to Ogun State Polytechnic, Ojere, Ogun State between 1994 and 1996 to obtain his National Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering. He thereafter went to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos between 1999 and 2001 to bag his Higher National Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering. He went for his mandatory National Youth Service in Delta State from 2002 to 2003. In his quest to broaden his knowledge, he put in and was admitted to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology for a Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering from 2007 to 2010. He later had the opportunity to attend the University of Florida, Gainsville Florida USA to obtain a Certificate in Public Utility Regulation & Strategy in 2009.
Driven by his vision to make a positive impact and make meaning out of life he joined Debo Industry Oshodi, Lagos, as an Industrial Trainee in 1997 and he worked there till his resignation in 1998. He later joined Unistar Hi-Tech Systems Ltd, Lagos in 2004 where he rose to the post of General Manager before his resignation in 2015 to pursue his political ambition.
